About the Course

This 2-hour long project-based course is an introduction to spreadsheets. We’ll be using Google Sheets in this project, which is the free spreadsheet program offered by Google. With that said, most of the concepts that you will learn in this project will be applicable to other spreadsheet programs, such as Microsoft Excel. We will cover the following concepts in a hands-on manner: - Basic data entry, formatting and calculations - Relative and absolute cell references - Basic functions: concatenate, split, sum, average, median, min, max, count, counta - Advanced functions: vlookup, if, and, or, iferror, countif, countifs, averageif, averageifs, sumif, sumifs - Dealing with error messages - Conditional formatting - Filtering and sorting - Basic charts to visualize our data We will end the project by applying these concepts and create a basic spreadsheet model that helps us analyze household expenses. If you are looking for basics of excel sheet then this course has it all. Trust my words and patiently attempt this guide with practically doing things parallel. it will help you understand better.

The sample spreadsheet is corrupted, can't be loaded into Sheets, and opening it in LibreOffice Calc gives a bunch of jibberish wingdings and such. I've tried to copy some examples into the review, but it won't let me submit with those characters. I've redownloaded it many times, from different browsers and different computers. And the course won't even let me drop it, the spot coursera says I can use to disenroll from the course only gives me the option to share or to rate. And I've tried submitting an issue with no response. And since the entire course is built around you using this sample, with no way to get it, there's no point.

the website isnt loading. as well as the file is not saved in spreadsheets(it won't let me and I can't import anything because its not saved and won't save to a file) so ive tried to save the outline of the original but its not working. I have full wifi bars also!
